Ato Misikir Geremew | Stand by General Trading


Ato Misikir Geremew, represents Stand by General Trading. He has been trading for ten solid years at the exchanges platform. Misikir said that before the establishment of ECX they were selling coffee in the very traditional trading system . The previous trading systems do not have a robust and articulated rules and regulations. Due to this, the trading system was full of pre and post trading problems. He added that they had to beg to sell the coffee. ‘’ Even after selling the coffee there was a lot of problems in delivering the coffee and receiving payment’’ Misikir said. ‘’It was in such time we heard the news of ECX establishment. Honestly speaking at first we feared to join the exchange. To the bet of my recollection, my first sale at ECX was one truck of Nekemt coffee and the buyer was a company named ‘Bagerish’’ He added. Thanks for ECX now we get our payment just after 1 day of Trading. Trust has been built between buyers and sellers. As a result, all the previous problems have been resolved. We no more beg buyers to buy our coffee.
